DataPump

The TRG SQL DataPump offers streamlined data movement from your ERP system (TCM, Syteline, etc) to an SQL data source for easy reporting and analysis.

The TRG SQL DataPump allows you to easily select and schedule ERP tables you want to extract and load into an SQL Server using a very simple, straightforward interface.

Transferring the data to SQL server allows the removal of the reporting load from your ERP system, frees up licenses and allows reports to be developed & distributed using modern reporting tools (Business Objects, SQL Reporting Services, etc).

Features:

• Ease of use. A graphical user interface is provided that allows the user to easily create DataPump packages that define what tables will be transferred.
• During the transfer process if the destination table does not exist it will be created and specified keys will also be transferred.
• The selected tables to be transferred can easily be schedule to run during business off hours.

• SMTP Email support for error logs and activity reports notification (Requires MS Exchange).
• Supports transfer of multiple ERP companies/databases to different destination SQL databases.
• Easily create and manage multiple packages via one interface. Example: One package could be created/scheduled to run nightly to transfer all large static tables. Another package could be created/scheduled to run hourly during business hours for tables that are more dynamic.
• For TCM, history purged from your TCM system can be retained in DataPump for historical reporting. Purged records are transferred to the SQL database and maintained in a separate history table which is appended to your "live" history in SQL providing a means for you to have all history in one centralized location. Purging history from TCM on a regular basis improves performance in your day-to-day operations.
